BIOGRAPHY/REVIEW:
(Disencumbrance on myspace)
Formed in 1992 when Joe Espinoza and Karel Fiferna Formerly of Anguish teamed up with Richard Bruce and Clayton Humphrey formerly of True Repentance. Much toil ensued, and after roughly a year a diabolical force was unleashed upon the leopard-skin-tight wearing denizens of On The Rocks. More shows followed and in early 1994 the intrepid foursome recorded a 2 Song Demo featuring "Mark of Death" and "The Dead Are Among Us". Later that year Mr. Humphrey departed the band. Around Thanksgiving of 1994 the remaining members entered Sound Logic Studios to record a 3 song demo featuring " Unholy Manifestations" , "Dimensions of Reality", and "Suicide". Released in 1995 this recording is by far their best known work, still garnering positive reviews a decade later. Differing opinions in band direction led to Mr. Bruce departing the band in late 1995. Joe and Karel went on to form the fantastically "Brutal Detrimental" in mid-1996. In 1998 the 3-Song Demo was featured in full on the Christian Grind/Thrash Compilation "Chords of the Grave"(http://www.holymetalrob.com/)

BIOGRAPHY:REVIEW:
I will admit I have been ignoring the Brazilian metalscene for a long time. Brazilian bands often deliver badly produced mediocre albums, with really no information at all, making it impossible to track down bands and get to know them better. Or atleast, that was my image of the Brazilian metalscene. Soterion and Against Death bring on this split each respectively Black metal and Death/Black metal. Both in the Old School kind of style: little to no variation and no melody as in soft interludes. The production is decent though, I can pretty clearly hear each instrument, there is no fuss, no noise and I don't get a headache while listening, I have heard much worse with American and European Old School Black metal (or Unblack metal as some tend to call it). The information however is also on this information impossible.

I guessed the year and way of release, it isn't available anywhere. The names of the musicians on this album are written with a font in the booklet that's quite hard to read, I had to track that information down on the internet. The songtitles I'm pretty sure of. These fonts look good, but especially capitols are impossible to read when you don't know the words.Anyway, the music. Excidium Satanas begins with an atmospheric and dark sounding introduction, with a really deep (it's altered by effects) voice talking. This intro clock 2:10 minutes, which is pretty long, two minutes of talking. The end has some sounds of fighting,

I think they might be taken from Braveheart. After this the Black metal comes in. Soterion bring some fast Black metal, with some decent variation in speedchanges actually. Many mid-speed tempo parts. The vocals are really shrieky and fit the music. The band does list a drummer, but my ears tell me this is a drumcomputer. I'd say this is probably one of the better Old School Black metal bands I've heard from the Christian metalscene as of lately. Not completely my style, but not really bad either.Against Death also try to do their best in creating a dark atmosphere with the intro. You hear the music of the Lord of the Rings movie, or at least I think that's what it is, with a lot of screaming on top of it.

The music is not that far from Old School Black metal, but with here and there a hint of Death metal. The vocals are also shrieky, like with Soterion, but also some grunting mixed in. The drumming here sounds like a real drummer to me. The production again really isn't that bad. Also here decent variation in speed changes, with mid-speed and fast parts, but focussing on the faster parts. So overall this is decent, I'm not a big fan of what some call Unblack metal, but I guess this could actually be interesting for those who do love that. I'll try to get more South American stuff, this split has atleast showed me there is decent music to be found, perhaps even great(http://www.holymetalrob.com/)

BIOGRAPHY/REVIEW:
Bloodwork is an English band playing what is best described as Extreme metal simply because it doesn't quite fit into either black metal or death metal. Bloodwork is currently the only major Christian metal band from England,No news is good news eh? Bloodwork are busy working on their new album, so far ten songs finished. When more news is ready it will be posted here!,Bloodwork also have a new logo which can be found on the pic section of their Myspace site(http://www.holymetal.org/)

Starting in 2002 BLOODWORK mix the best parts of death and black metal to make extreme music that has a passionate, dark atmosphere. The lyrics seek to stimulate peoples minds and offer a ray of hope in this dying world. After a 2 song demo, 5 track EP last year and various live gigs around the UK, Europe and the world, BLOODWORK are now well under way to release their first full length album. When it's ready we'll let you know! BLOODWORK enjoy playing live a lot and have played at various festivals around the world as well as many underground gigs in their hometown of London. A new, self recorded 5 track EP entitled ‘Insufficient Flesh’ has just been released on the bands own label, the band wanting to use it to build on the previous well received 'In His Death' demo and pave the way for a full length towards the end of 2005. Work on musicianship and songwriting continues as they want to balance increasing heaviness and technicality with songs that people enjoy. The band love playing and writing extreme metal and strive to make a difference in London and further a field(http://www.holymetal.org/)

REVIEW(Insufficient Flesh)
Despite it seeming like Bloodwork have been around for years and years (it is in fact just three years), no doubt due to the previous incarnation of Paradox, this really is their first serious release. I could be wrong but as far as I know, this band is the only British Christian death metal band in existence (although there are members from North America and South Africa) and as such there is little to compare them to, apart from the much larger Scandinavian scene with which they have many connections and have played at many of their festivals. Last year they released a two-track limited edition sampler; both songs are on this EP and are a subtle improvement on the original. The other three tracks also seem to be an improvement in artistry and innovation, if not in listenability, which can be put down to some fairly good quality production. A good move was to include dual vocals, providing the complementing growls and screams, which nicely follows current trends. Lyrically, this is strong and purposeful stuff; with topics ranging from purity and absolution to the eternity and love of Christ. This is pretty good quality mid-paced death metal with influences coming in from neighbouring genres (doom, black, thrash, etc) that leaves me eagerly awaiting their full-length album but not yet fully impressed or satisfied(http://www.holymetalrob.com/)

BIOGRAPHY/REVIEW:
Nice Death Metal With some melody,2002 - In May the City of Annapolis [GO] André [Batera] invited Régis and Fabricio, two friends and started the band with a unique sound and founded on the Death Metal, which came as Regis and Manufacturing Bass Guitar / Vocals. They started doing tests and came Covers invitations to perform, the band performed with such training, and in need of a Vocalist invited Jean to take the Vocals, as Fabricio only in improvised Vocals, he accepted and continued doing Banda Covers of the Bands Skymetal , and Demoniciduth Antidemon. Therefore from this point onwards the first original songs were emerging. 2003 - In December there is the Launch CD "Renewal By The Fear" Containing 5 Tracks, with good acceptance and being distributed to more than 10 countries. 2004 - There were two changes in training in March were: Jean took over the Lower and thus became the Bassist / Vocalist,

Fabrício was once the Bassist, became a 2nd Guitarist. 2005 - At the beginning of the Year Rodrigo [Brother Regis] into the Banda and assumes the Bass and Jean returned to only Vocalist. 2006 - Occurs in February Launch of the 2nd CD, the Split "Si Vis Pacem Parabellum" with Banda Torn Veil of Teresina - PI, each band has 5 Loved and how it was different from the CD "Renewal By The Fear" was well received and distributed to various countries, and in December of that year, Guitarist Régis leaves band for personal reasons. 2007

In May the band full 5 years and is very grateful to everyone who helped us and has helped, as the Journal Brutal Death Extreme Extreme Records and Seal. And ending the year in December Daniel [Guitarra] assumes the post left by Regis as a guest member. 2008 - The band has performed in many gigs throughout the year. Participated in more than one Collection, this being his 6th participation in Collections. And in December Daniel [Guitar] left the Band for health reasons. 2009 - Early in the year the band suffered two more losses, André [Batera] and Fabricio [Guitar] both came to devote all of their professions and their outputs occurred amicably. After a few months after leaving the band auditioned several musicians. And after several tests the new members are: Roberto [Guitar] and Junior [Batera](http://www.holymetalrob.com/)

BIOGRAPHY/REVIEW:
The remains of Overcome gone death metal,Don't be fooled by the fact that this band is made up of former OVERCOME members, or that it's on a primarily hardcore label -- this is brutal, technical death metal,They sound like "CANNIBAL CORPSE" and "SUFFOCATION" Albums , There's also just a hint of that high-tech, ultra-brutal deathgrind sound that bands like ORIGIN and CATTLE DECAPITATION provide in abundance. The riffs are killer, and the drumming and vocals are more than solid. The songwriting is also solid, but this is the primary area where I feel that the band has room to improve. Also worth noting are the intelligent, sincere, spiritually-motivated lyrics, which are (for me, anyway) a welcome change from the typical gore/death lyrics. All in all, this is a high-caliber death metal release,

recommended to fans of any of the bands mentioned above. And WOW! I love this CD. Every song was captivating and I was literally on pins and needles waiting for the next track. I just love it. These guys are even heavier than most secular deathmetal bands,The way the death metal must be. Powerful growls, crushing and complex riffs, awesome drums, excelent songwritting and production. Lyrics are included in the CD. Best tracks: ¨Throats as Open Graves¨ and ¨Whited sepulchre¨ If you're searching for a real good christian death metal band check Indwelling, you won't be dissapointed, this band is great the vocal delivery is almost as heavy as the jackhammer riffs that lay all over this album there are definate hints to bands like suffocation and cannibal corpse the drums are great and exremely varied in there execution, the blend of technicallity and simple hardcore-esqe mosh riffs is simply crushing,(http://www.holymetalrob.com/)

You may read the testimony of this brotha in christ here on the link below hope you will enjoy it!! it's Great!! (www.freewebs.com/mydarkesttime/bolnica.htm)
The album opens "Inner Voice", and rhythmic arrangement rather intricate compositions where Zarko immediately stressed his luxurious composer affinities do not hesitate to stylistic fusion, metal, jazz, Sympho / Gothic, natruha classical, ambient glazbe and religious atmosphere in which the uniqueness gives ticklish Vocal Marine Atanasova Colored Macedonian folk elements (very similar compositions are "Maranata",And "In Control" And "Instrumental "Broken Life"). One of the longest number on the album, "Vanity" s vocals Sonny Sauruk already sluggish doom with a simpler composer Obligations that are interwoven emphasized Rhythmics with empty or lagnim atmospheric passage. How goes the album with a rather confused and zapetljanog beginning,

so the following material stretch all the easier composer theme - "Then we shall see something ...», intensifying and faster" Waiting "," Looking within for strength, "until najplesnije" Life Expectancy "and ritual "When we leave this earth". Over the past half hour album contains 4 instrumentals with of course, very demanding arrangements and darker, mostly Sympho-gothic doom atmosphere. The material was recorded and I komponirao Zarko, and it plays all the Instruments in conjunction with analog and Digital Techniques (Guitar, Bass, Rhythm Machine, Synth, Laptop, Samplovi, Keyboards, Effects ...), and stylish Opus is the shortest way of describing as Sympho-gothic doom metal. And,Started as a Doom/Gothic band, later they change the style into Death/Doom Metal,The music is reflection from the dark periods as black as night, of excruciating pain and horror; of hope nearly lost…and of God’ Mercy.
