Fantastic hard rock album. Got some gutsy blues and grit influence (a little like AC/DC, but not at all a clone). Fantastic album, wish it was a little easier to find.In the mid nineties there was a real lack of any good metal/hard rock. I guess the general public had overdosed on the heavier side of music in the late 80's so most bands switched or new bands started playing modern styled rock. Ledfoot was a breath of fresh air, in that although there were elements of modern rock in their sound, it still was hard rock with plenty of good riffs. Unto The Church and Rat Race are the highlight tracks for me, and are worth the price of the CD alone. I wish they'd of continued, but alas it was not to be, and their selftitled album was the only one that they released,Ledfoot was a hard rock band. Good riffs, tasty guitar solos, and choruses that hook are what Ledfoot was about. When listening to this CD this morning, AC/DC , X-Sinner and Deep Purple, for some reason, crossed my mind as points of reference. Not that Ledfoot really sound like either one of these bands, but the singer, Earl Wayne Davis, does remind me of Brian Johnson(http://www.holymetalrob.com/)
