6-STRENGTH TO MY SOUL

Not a “praise” band as the title might lead you to believe, but actually a tight rock outfit. The Sounds Of Praises often has a heavy edge that evokes the smooth-grooved style of Atlanta Rhythm Section or early DeGarmo & Key. Great electric guitar action throughout, including some long soloing and exciting twin leads. Sometimes breezy, upbeat and touched with jazz influences. At other times the moods are quiet and dreamy. The free-sailing ‘Strength To My Soul’ has a nice jamming Sweet Comfort Band vibe to it. Usually male lead vocals, with airy male/female bgvs. Good authentic sound with no strings, horns, etc. Stupendous cover art. They’re from Asheville, North Carolina(http://www.holymetalrob.com/)
