HERO is a part of FROSTIC booking managment from SWEDEN. The band is endorsed by INDIE Guitars -NEWS-NEWS-NEWS- The new album will see the lights in a narrow time period. The album will be called HERO "Immortal". Torbjorn Weinesjo/ Veni Domine are mixing the album. HISTORY HERO started out with Michael Hero and his friend Björn Sundström recording some music together. It ended up with a record called "Bless this nation" which was released on the selfowned record label "GOOD NEWS MUSIC". Michael Hero who is the founder of the band was raised in the cold northern part of Sweden. He started to play guitar when he was 9 years old, rocking out to KISS. He also plays in the band SONS OF THUNDER and has been playing in different other bands. Michael Hero now works as a youthleader and runs a "SCHOOL OF ROCK" project in Stockholm with many bands. When it came to form the band to play LIVE, you usally go for guys who are your own age, but Michael wanted new blood, so he talked to the very talented musician Marcus Lannfjäll who joined the band. Marcus Lannfjäll plays in a punk-rock band called Pineapple Sue and is also a leader in the "SCHOOL OF ROCK" project. On drums we have (Drum roll) Daniel Asplund. He and Michael are old friends and had a band together in the early 90's called Rex Blue. Daniel runs a very cool cafe (Cafe Lyran) in southern Stockholm. Torbjörn Weinesjö// Veni Domine are right now mixing the album And the band are looking for a deal for the record............ The band played at the Cornerstone festival, Illinois 5th of July And will do shows together with Bubba Undertaker this fall. See you soon!
