A mixture of fast-paced tech metal and melodic worship, their music can be compared to such contemporaries as The Faceless, Meshuggah and Veil of Maya, with the addition of the fact that ITMOL packs a serious spiritual punch. Lately for some reason I've been trying out Death Metal bands I wouldn't listen to a year ago.Coming across new bands from Myspace,I was surprised that i liked this, but then again I have been wanting something that will grind my mind. Out Of Darkness sure gets me going. If you like brutal Death Metal I think you'll like In The Midst Of Lions. They may not be your favorite new band you listen to, but sure is worth a try.
