MORE INFO ABOUT THIS SECOND DEMO
Sojourn – Where You Are – WOW. That about describes this album.
Highly talented musicians, coupled with strong, accurate, clear,
emotional vocals and 10 original tracks:
this album blows me away. Cannot fathom how this didn’t get signed
(religious politics maybe?) Powerful tunes like “You’ll Find a Way” contain the vocal prowess of The Gaither Vocal Band or Imperials
(and that is saying a lot) with the energy and upbeat tempo of Age of Faith.
If you don’t own this, YOU LOSE!! A must have for any discriminating music fan, there are no weaknesses here
MORE INFO ABOUT THEIR FIRSTH DEMO
Sojourn – The first song reminded me of Kerry Livgren,
and upon further examination of the track listings,
I found a cover of Livgren’s “High On a Hill”,
plus two Geoff Moore covers,
“I Found Love” and “Mercy for the Memories”.
After seeing their photo on the cover,
(think Breakfast Club),
I was skeptical that they could pull it off,
but this is one talented group of musicians.
A few are still involved in music ministries associated
with the Lutheran Church.
11 professionally produced tracks that will make a worthy addition to any collection, especially fans of Livgren, Geoff Moore, David Meece, etc.
