Mad At The World was formed in 1987 in Southern California by brothers Roger and Randy Rose. Few Christian bands have enjoyed the longevity and underground critical acclaim as Mad at the World. From the day mailman and lead singer Roger Rose stuck a tape in a record company executive's mailbox until current times, Mad at the World has turned heads with their provocative music.The first two albums featured a synth/pop style of music. Then, in order to have a sound more amiable for live performances, the band's Musical style shifted to hard rock for the next three albums.The last two albums Brought some member changes and a more retro soundin style of music.Lyrically, the band delves into the many struggles we face in life and reminds us of our hope in our Saviour,Jesus Christ.Issues dealt with in the Songs include

REVIEWS:FOR THE ALBUM MATW:
This was a groundbreaking release for its time. Frontline was a brand new label that was willing to take chances on something new and different. MATW is second only to DA's "Fearful Symmetry" in the sucessful combination of innovation and artistry on those early releases. I LOVE the fake British accents!!! And finally just for the record, The Mad at the World is predated by The Seventy Sevens, whose first album, "ping pong over the abyss," was recorded in 1982.
REVIEW FOR THE ALBUM-THROUGH THE FOREST:
I really like the hard rock sounds in the guitars and the emblem on the album cover is awesome. That carving in the stone seems to resemble another depiction of a group of ancient travelers that came to this earth millions of years ago even before the behemoths roamed about. Dreamland Cafe is another cool album by Mad at the World/Roger Rose. I can't really compare this christian rock album to any secular group but in my estimaion it clearly bangs out a bold rhythm that I appreciate in from the music world(http://www.holymetalrob.com/)
