A solo effort of one of Edin brothers with a little help from WEST OF SUNSET/FINGERPRINTS members. So if you can imagine a mix of Edin/Adahl album and Fingerprints that's what we get here. Maybe it isn't as good as Fingerprints or West of Sunset gem, but is definitely catchy and worth having. Mostly upbeat, wimpy hi-tech Swedish AOR. Similar to Drama, Ten Tigers, Jim, Talent, Uffe Persson, sometimes Lava and of course Edin/Adahl and Fingerprints. Lasse Edin is best known as founder member of Edin Adahl purveyors of funky pop gospel and now the Swedish vocalist cuts loose with plenty of synth pop dexterity but without the dance floor appeal that made Edin Adahl's finest so memorable. Having said that, this album exudes excellent musicianship and only occasionally lapses into the robotic anonymity of all those Stock-Aiken-Waterman hits. Lyrics are pretty dire and seem aimed at the elusive crossover, "I belong to you, I need you all the time" etc. etc., but played loud the mid and up tempo numbers chug along nicely while the ballad title track has a spark of originality not always glimmering through elsewhere.Lasse Edin were a Swedish CCM,group from 1980 to 1994, comprised of brothers Bertil & Lasse Edin and Simon & Frank Ådahl. The group are most well known for their 1990 hit "Som en vind" (Like a Wind)It won the 1990 Melodifestivalen and went on to place sixteenth at the Eurovision Song Contest. The following year, they placed second in the Melodifestivalen. Simon Ådahl participated in 1995 with together with Lasse Edin. Another song, "Revival", rose to #3 in Sweden's radio charts.Their English albums had similar production quality when compared to secular albums, but suffered from poor distribution and "lousy lyrics"Frank Ådahl was the voice of Simba in the Swedish version of the 1994 animated film The Lion King. Two of the brothers released solo albums on Refuge in 1985. Bertil Edin released Cross The Border, and Simon Ådahl I'm In Touch.Lasse Edin formed a band called The Outsiders in 1990.
