Solo CD from ex-Holy Soldier singer kicks off with a stunning rocker that sets up high hopes that the rest of the album can't match. The other tracks are OK--there are some solid tunes here--but they don't match that kick-butt opener. Truth be told, only a few songs will appeal to Holy Soldier fans, as this CD (like many solo efforts) lacks the hard edge of the band from which the singer came. Bottom line, this CD may not be the joker in the deck, but it sure as heck ain't the king either(http://www.holymetalrob.com/)
